Solstice Sunshine

Thursday, June 21, 2018

breath.

fire.

sun.

earth.

ocean.

********

as i let my thoughts and all that is binding me go.

i see the ocean.

a horizon with no end.

vast wavy water.

the sun low in the sky.

shimmering.

there is a calm.

a peace.

a knowing.

all that i have seen.

all that i let go.

i'm exactly where i need to be right now.

i am happy.

SX-70 Impossible Film (Expired Round Ed)

Camping.

That is essentially what we are doing right now.

In a really cool ass adobe casita.

It's been rather stuffy and hot in the evenings.

We are trying to keep the windows open at night and then close out most of the light during the day to keep the house cool.

But when the day temperatures soar near mid 90s and the evening temps only get to mid 60s...

We camp.

I'm looking at fans today after work.

This morning I woke up to clouds.

You can smell the rain in the air.

It reminds me of coast life.

Was that a dream?

To be able to walk four blocks to the beach...

Just missing our beach life some days.

Well most days now that it is hot.

Well.

I just wanted to write a little on a grey day.

Still my favorite kind of day.

After all the changes I've put myself through.

I still love the grey days.
